Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D S02E19: The Dirty Half Dozen

It’s possible she can feel the vibrations from the other people in the room. Giving her a Daredevil-like knowledge of the room. If that’s the case, I’d expect to hear about it in a later episode in an after-action analysis.

Why destroy the base after they’d killed all the Hydra agents? For that matter, the infiltration and extraction seemed ridiculously easy.

I’ve been calling the guy with no eyes Lockjaw, because, well, he’s pretty much serving the same purpose for the TV Inhumans what Lockjaw does for the comic Inhumans. I bet he humps fewer legs, though.

SHIELD has an Agent 13 as well, Sharon Carter, she was in the 2nd Captain America movie, played by Emily VanCamp. With Revenge being canceled (apparently), maybe she’ll wind up on this show at some point (just a wondering on my part, not even a rumor as far as I know).

I wonder how they’d connect her to Peggy, though. Safe to assume they’re not sisters in the Marvel Movieverse the way they are in the Marvel Comics Universe.

The actress, Maya Stojan, also plays the video tech specialist on Castle.

For what it’s worth, I think she is stunningly beautiful. Maya Stojan - IMDb

I’m 80% sure that 13 is Peggy’s granddaughter.

Also Revenge is not yet canceled, though I’ve read that it’s unlikely to be picked up for a full 22 next year.

I didn’t get that. I assume it’s a reference to a video game I’ve never played. I’m guessing … Sonic the Hedgehog?

Also, is the actress who’s playing Agent 33 the same one who was playing her before she got the mask fused on and then was played by Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennett, et al? (Yes, I remember she got a photo from her mom, presumably of herself. I’m asking anyway.)

One thing I’m not going to miss after the season wraps up - all the whining about Skye’s role.

Yes, it’s Skye’s show. Here, this is the world’s tiniest violin playing for all the (I assume) Coulson fanbois who won’t shut up about it.

Yes. Because she’s spiny.

Yes.

Sharon Carter is Peggy Carter’s niece in the current comics. And considering they tossed a line into the movie about Sharon talking to her Aunt on the phone, I’m assuming it’s the same in the MCU.

Oh God yes. There are way too many whiners. It’s almost like some people watch shows they know they won’t like just to get angry about something.

Back in season 1, didn’t Raina kill a whole bunch of innocent people while running various operations for “the clairvoyant”? Doesn’t anyone care?

I guess maybe the inhumans don’t, but the S.H.I.E.L.D. people shouldn’t be willing to forgive and forget so quickly.

Yep, and she killed a few SHIELD agents immediately after her transformation.

But why do you think SHIELD has forgiven and forgotten? They were trying to capture her, with IIRC orders to kill if a capture wasn’t possible, when Gordo showed up and rescued her. She’s been in the Inhuman sanctuary ever since.

And yes, it’s becoming more and more clear that the Inhumans don’t give a damn about normal humanity.

Yep, you got me. It’s just like the whole Team Vampire versus Team Werewolf thing that was going on. Because disliking one character in an ensemble cast means one must align with another. PC or Mac. Apple or Android. PS or Xbox. Always has to be one or the other.

Of course it does. What do you think religious wars are all about?

Wait, what? WTF? They’re doing a spinoff for this show already???

Yep. Bobbi and Hunter are getting their own show. What it will be has yet to be announced.

Not to mention that ABC is developing another Marvel show not connected to AoS besides the spin-off.

In the comics, most mutants had some heightened physical abilities, even those with non-combat mutations. It seemed to just go along with the territory, and also made it easier for the writings to explain how the psychic guy could survive a Juggernaut rampage that ought to have killed a normal human. I think they are doing the same sort of thing here with their version of Inhumans. Gordon the teleporter seems stronger than a normal human. So does Cal, even though he isn’t an inhuman, per se. Skye probably has a new burst of speed and strength post-terrigenesis.

At this rate, all television programming will be either comic-book or reality-based.

I was annoyed Simmons was so clumsy in her attempt to take out Ward. Just shoot him. Geez.
