Hey Ag, I hope the contents of this thread are being related to you. Anyway, I checked in last night and I’ll check in tonight; I hope you’re progressing towards recovery.
The world needs a few more like you, pal. Get better.
And let’s not forget that having a tube down your throat will help you learn to suppress your gag reflex, which will come in handy in case someone else cooks at a DFW dopefest one of these days.
Last night I looked at the Christmas pictures that our own dear Cheffie put in the photo album. There sure are a lot of pictures of Aglarond in there. What a camera hog! Anyhoo, we’ll have to have a party once he’s feeling better because a gathering just isn’t the same if he’s not there to tease.
Um, Ag honey, I assume you are reading this, and I am sending you prayers and positive healing thoughts. And you may need to consider this…poor Chef Troy seems to be in need of a bolstering of his self esteem…
I think you need to get better, so you can get to a point where you can let him cook for you, so you can tell him he is an EXCELLENT chef, a REMARKABLE chef, a chef EXTRAODINAIRRE!
Heyyyyy! I just noticed this. You’re aren’t hinting that I’m a terrible cook? You know I did offer to host the next party. I said I would host a party once my out of town guest, who’s been there almost six weeks, leaves.
Grace, I was NOT aware that you’d offered to host the next party. I wasn’t dissing you. by all means please cook. I’m sure it will be great.
Jim, I promise that the next time I host, I will make some rice-free menu item. Guess that means no spanish food… the only things I make from that cuisine are arroz con pollo and paella. Maybe I’ll make beef stew next time.
BTW, everyone, I have saved the Mardi Gras pix onto my hard drive at home and will be uploading them to photopoint as soon as I crop them and write the captions. Do you all think Palmyra will be embarrassed if I include the picture that makes it clear which of the party guests was pining for her?
