Ahhh, Karma.

Now, now, Homebrew! Do you want the genital cuff?

You sure you’re not a mechanic, Homebrew? This sounds like a muffler job.

auntie em, glad to hear those antics aren’t representative. The last time I tried to pull something like that was in Oakland, CA, and it wound up with a handgun pointed at my temple. Not that I think that our fair town has even come close to that level of road rage, but I choose not to push the envelope anyway.

Re: the 50 mph buttsucks. There’s a lot of them around here and I’ll give you a theory why. My grandmother spent 65 years living on a farm at least 70 miles from anything resembling a city. She finally moved here about 5 years ago. I had the pleasure of riding with her occasionally on the highway and guess what? Buttsucky highway driving skillz. 50 mph is about as fast as you dare to drive on gravel roads out in the sticks. And nobody’s ever coming from any other direction so no worries about cutting somebody off. Guess it’s hard to shake those kinds of habits after driving that way for so long. She’s not driving anymore (thank god) due to her health.

Nonetheless, I will be on the lookout for an aging Beamer with a polka-dotty skirt flapping outside the driver side door.

I don’t know what that is, but it sounds like it could be fun.

I do like tail pipes.

Horseflesh, I used to live in Oakland, CA, and though I have never had a gun pointed at my head, I watched in horror (and peed my pants a little) from the car as someone pointed a gun at a dear friend of mine (visiting from Atlanta) because he approached them to ask where he might buy some weed.

I have never been so terrified, so I can’t imagine how YOU must have felt!.

I learned to control my road rage years earlier, however, while I was living in Houston (isn’t that where you are, Jinwicked?), in fear of just such an incident as you described.

Homebrew, I thought surely that you would have seen Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (the movie from which the “genital cuff” quote was taken)! Rent it today!
