Here I am on my last week of vacation in a camp we rent on a cove in Maine. The weather was iffy the first few days but the last three, including today, which is my dh’s bday, is perfect. Breezy, warm, sunny.
Should be another good day on the boat.
I’ve missed seeing you all and have had difficulty getting on this site but finally was able to do so today. yay.
Was happy to be unaffected by the power outage but a little taken aback by the images of those walking across the bridges in NYC, reminiscent of 9/11. Our house in NJ wasn’t affected either pshew.
You forgot to mention lobsters. If there aren’t any lobsters involved, your excursion does not qualify as a “Maine vacation.” If you happen to be vegetarian, merely boil one up and toss it overboard to complete your mandatory crustacean consumption requirement.
We just had steak and lobster last night. I can’t bear to pay restaurant prices for lobster when all you do is boil/broil/etc them. I can do that fcol.
We had two one pounders each last night w/some steak. The kids weren’t fond of the lobster but we didn’t care ROFL
