I’ve made the wasabi cream sauce and the mango-avocado salsa. The dairy section was a little congested, and I didn’t see any regular yoghurt; so I got Greek-style. I just had Mrs. L.A. taste it, and she made a ‘that’s good’ face. She’s not fond of yoghurt, and it did have that taste. But I think it will be all right. I’m not sure how much wasabi paste I put in, but it has a nice after-burn. I’m not sure about the salsa. I don’t think I’ve ever had salsa with avocado in it, and it’s not sweet like store-bought mango salsa. Also, I used a fresh jalapeño instead of pickled ones. It tastes all right, and the Lead Actor will be the fish. But it seems like ‘vegetables you put on tacos’ instead of ‘salsa’, if you understand my meaning.

I think I’ve convinced her that ahi is supposed to be rare. If she mentions it, I’ll reminder that she likes sushi.

Wish me luck.

Sounds yummy!

How does it look?

Fine presentation.

I doubt mine will be presented as well. No, there’s no doubt; they won’t. :stuck_out_tongue:
