Just a couple quick “useful” AI renders. One was for a roleplaying game where the guy running it was lamenting that they didn’t have a map for a weird location: a sun-baked temple… on a space station… that was serving as a convenience store. I quickly made a few options and sent them to him and he picked a favorite to throw a grid on for the game. Screenshot is from the game (hence the character icons)
The second was for a sensor panel for my PC. It’s a small thin monitor used to display system information. There’s various backgrounds and layouts you can find but I decided to make one with a retro radio style look. I created the background in SDXL, laid the system info over it using Aida64 and it looks pretty snazzy if I do say so myself.

An AI group had the challenge “functional clothing”. I’m pretty surprised that Copilot made a decent water sombrero on the first try. I anticipated it being a struggle to get the “straw” positioned plausibly.
How long does it usually take ChatGPT to generate an image? I’m sitting here staring at a spinning circle.
I haven’t managed to get ChatGPT to produce an image for a couple of weeks now. Eternal spinning circle. Doesn’t work in the browser or app. I don’t know why. I use only Microsoft Copilot and Sora now.
Sometimes if i refresh the page, it’ll actually generate.
I see this on my desktop, you know a refresh is working when there is a slightly darker frame and the waiting circle goes to the lower right corner of the frame. I did it with the Red Fox prompt from Darren_Garrison and got the waiting circle and after a refresh, it did continue. I got almost the exact non human fox that he did.
Almost the same chair, just the fox a little bit smaller compared to the chair.
