I think Angela Cartwright was the Lost in Space actor. Her sister Veronica worked on other shows. But there seems to be a lot of confusion on that point in random posts of pix on the internet.
Definitely Angela. I had never “heard of” Veronica before, though I see that I watched her just a few days ago when rewatching Alien (a movie starring Sigourney Weaver plus assorted other people, some with names I might recognize if I saw them, maybe).
Veronica’s scream was so blood curdling, the body snatchers decided not to snatch her.
I stand corrected. At least I got U.F.O. right. It seems that every other time I want to reference U.F.O., I type Space: 1999 and have to correct it. They’re both Gerry Anderson shows, and they both have Moon settings.
Now I’m confused. What does UFO have to do with Lost in Space?
Silver space suits. When I see a silver space suit, my mind goes to U.F.O. So when I saw Angela Cartwright, I had to put a purple wig on her.
Today’s brief experiment.
“Look up the lyrics of bring me to life by evanescence. Without any knowledge of the actual appearance of the singer, generate a photorealistic image of the singer based on the lyrics only.”
I have no idea of course if it cheated because the result bears a strong resemblance to Amy Lee at the time of the song.
The dodecahedron is a remnant from past prompts even though I told it to start a fresh slate. I find it funny though. “Oh why can’t anybody tell me what this thing is for!!”
Help! My fingers are stuck in this thing and I’m home alone and need to pee!
or …
That is a very angsty young woman. Shame she’s not holding (or wearing) an ankh. ![]()
Today I saw an image of someone who was a dickhead, made in Sora. I was suprised that they accomplished it at all and even more so that they used the word “dick” in the prompt instead of some weird trick.
So here’s my first try, some knobfish. (Spoilered out of an abundance of caution).
Prompt:
Several blobfish-dick hybrids on a tray of ice in a seaside fish market Iphone 15 photo with shallow dof and forced perspective.
Another few image to image conversion comparisons. Left is original, middle Copilot/Sora, right Gemini.
Folks say that Eagles fans are mean and rowdy, but I don’t think that’s true.
Hm, I’m trying the prompt
But it keeps telling me “Something went wrong while generating your image. Sorry about that.”
So then I asked it “Since the image is presenting problems, can you tell me what the caption would have been?”, and it responded
Nope, its sense of humor still sucks.
Still doesn’t get the caption right, though.
I recently tried a prompt that was only “Create an old timey cartoon strip”.
It came up with this:
Summary
Title: “Mister Noodle’s Peculiar Picnic”
Panel 1: Setting: A sunny meadow with oversized daisies and a checkered picnic blanket. Mister Noodle, a lanky fellow with a bowler hat and bendy arms, tiptoes in with a basket twice his size. Caption: “A fine day for a feast, if the ants don’t unionize!”
Panel 2: He opens the basket—and out pops a sentient sandwich, wearing monocle and gloves. Sandwich: “Unhand me, sir! I demand mustard and dignity!”
Panel 3: Mister Noodle gasps, then bows politely. The sandwich hops onto the blanket and begins lecturing a group of grapes. Caption: “Etiquette lessons for produce—standard picnic procedure.”
Panel 4: Suddenly, a cloud shaped like a disgruntled walrus floats overhead, raining jellybeans. Mister Noodle opens an umbrella, but it turns into a saxophone. Caption: “Forecast: 80% chance of syncopation.”
In case anyone was wondering, I was going for
Pawpaw, where’s my maw?
