Aigonz is a cowardly fucking moron

Yes, he/she seems like a fairly standard believer to me. Somewhat rational on the surface but their mind turns off the moment you try to point out the irrationality and baselessness of their beliefs. A broken record that basically just plays their pet dogma in an endless loop.

I gave up on Aigonz days ago. He’s just a repeating loop who ignores facts and evidence and isn’t really interested in a debate. He’s basically another lekatt, but with more obnoxious edge.

It’s not really that. I don’t anyone wants to talk him out of being a believer or cares one way or the other about it. It’s that he keeps trying (in a very arrogant way) to keep trying to convince people to accept his proofs for God, no matter how thoroughly his reasoning is demolished. His posts are also shot through with factual errors which he refuses to ever acknowledge as factual errors. Like I said. Lekatt.

I will never understand people who try to give logical proof for the existence of God. There isn’t any. Faith, i.e., the acceptance of certain “facts” with absolutely zero concrete evidence, is a necessary condition of being religious. Don’t try to dress it up with anything else, because you will fail. Horribly.

I figure faith is poisoned when you’re surrounded by people who don’t believe as you do and are casually confident in those beliefs. Christianity in particular loves the image of the ignorant heathen suffering in the darkness, waiting for the light of Christ. It doesn’t quite know how to handle the well-fed agnostic playing computer games and watching the Discovery channel and who has no particular interest in being “saved”.

Therefore, describe faith as a logical process while downplaying or ridiculing what others consider logical processes, if they get results that contradict one’s beliefs. This was probably relatively easy to do when Europe was (for the most part) officially Catholic and had (more or less) the most advanced technology - i.e. Christianity is best because Christians have the best stuff, QED. This is probably also why discoveries outside the Christian sphere get downplayed, if not ignored, and discoveries of any kind made by a Christian get credited to Christianity, even if the discoverer hasn’t been in a church since his baptism.

Do not say his name a third time, I beg you.

What the hell are you afraid of? I’m not scared! Lekatt, Lekatt, Lekatt. See! Nothing to be worried abo–

OH GOD NO, WHAT HAVE I WROUGHglrblwharblgrlglblblflflllllllllllrgh

Warning: Poster consumed in a sea of stupidity.

Phaedrus?

It is faith when you ask them for evidence or reasons for god. But it is solid truth when they are telling you why gay people shouldn’t be allowed to marry. (Them that say this, that is.)

Anyhow, if they had real faith they’d have faith that God will come down and smite the heathen, and not try to do the job themselves.
