Airtrain/LIRR (need answer fast!)

Can anyone tell me if the Airtrain is running from JFK to Jamaica station, and if LIRR trains are running from Jamaica station to Penn Station?

J trains operate between the Jamaica Center Station and the Chambers Street Station, making all local stops.

MTA Long Island Rail Road will be restoring train service between Ronkonkoma and Riverhead on Tuesday, November 6 with connecting bus service to operate between Riverhead and Greenport. Other schedule improvements for Tuesday include: the restoration of modified service to Hunters Point Avenue and the addition of Freeport-Atlantic Terminal trains that stop at Freeport, Baldwin, Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Rosedale, Laurelton, Locust Manor and Jamaica.The LIRR will continue operating on a modified schedule on all branches except the Long Beach Branch and east of Speonk on the Montauk Branch.

The LIRR is running, but there’s reduced service because some of the tunnels are still flooded.

The answers are yes, and yes. With somewhat reduced or altered schedules. (you missed out - on friday all rides were free!)

The operation of the J subway line is unrelated to the operation of the LIRR.

I’m not sure how fast of an answer you needed, but the LIRR just shut down because of weather.
