So Al Gore has NOT declared he is running for President. At lease the wait is finally over. I’ve been kind of sick of hearing about “will he or won’t he”.
Are you referring to his announcement during the Oscars? Where the orchestra drowned him out?
That was a joke. I’m referring to the acceptance speech for Best Documentary, where it was hypothesized that me might announce his intention to run.
Any bets on when people will start claiming it’s not really a documentary?
I’ll WAG that certain rightwing pundits (such as Rush) started saying it wasn’t a documentary the moment it was released.
I’ve got a friend who thinks he is still going to run. We’ve got a bet. If Al runs, I’ll wear an Al Gore shirt one night at work and if he doesn’t announce that he is running by the end of the year then he’ll wear a Republican t-shirt one night when he performs.

Why would they wait that long? It’s not like they would actually bother seeing it before rendering judgment.
