Oh, and JCoM, feel free to ignore me. I have just noticed that every single one of your posts I can remember from the last while have been typed in good-ol’-boy dialect, which irritates me for some reason. I guess it’s because you’re not really talking, and the affectation strikes me as a little ridiculous.
However, there’s no particular reason you should care about my opinion.
Clear sauce is thin and vinegary. I don’t much care for it.
My favorite BBQ restaurant is Country’s in Columbus, GA, and I like their “mild sauce”, which is the darkest of the three bottles on the table. It’s sweeter and tastes less like mustard.
I had never heard of “white sauce” until I moved to the Huntsville area.

Well, my sister is one of them too, and now she’s in Oregon, just 20 miles from the California line. Word to the wise and alla that.
On the contrary, I care about everybody’s opinion. Caring doesn’t always translate into action, but I do take notice. ETF: Very nice braids! That’s one thing teenage girls do well, make braids. I’m certain that some day I’ll discover other things teenage girls do well, but that day has not yet arrived.
Regarding the horse you inquired about: That horse was, if you recall, somewhat of a fool. As frequently happens with fools, he met an untimely demise. With no provocation whatsoever, he tore away while being led, galloped off at full speed trailing the lead rope, stepped on the rope, somersaulted head over heels and broke a foreleg. Luckily, his pet teenager wasn’t around when that happened.
His place has been taken by two mares, ladies of * a certain age,* if you will. Suffice to say that their papers would admit either of them to bars in the USA. Being quite sensible and experienced as indicated by their stage of life, these mares have restored peace and tranquility to horse riding on this farm. Their teenage pet is happy once again, and all would be well if only it would rain.
