Yup. Like I needed more of a reason to loathe him, right?
I will admit to some schadenfreude when he entered the Illinois Senate race, however. Right after Jack Ryan’s withdrawal from the race, one of my husband’s (white) coworkers did the classic “Since you look like me I’ll assume you share my prejudices” move and told him, “I’m not gonna vote for no nigger.” My husband was essentially speechless, and waved the guy off, shaking his head. Then the IL GOP comes up with their new nomination… 
I wonder if the coworker was responsible for one of the few Libertarian votes, perhaps?
