Boston’s first may take it, since I know all the songs but never owned the album.
The Police, Syncronicity is another one for me:
Side one
“Synchronicity I”
“Walking in Your Footsteps”
“O My God”
“Mother” (Andy Summers)
“Miss Gradenko” (Stewart Copeland)
“Synchronicity II”
Side two
“Every Breath You Take”
“King of Pain”
“Wrapped Around Your Finger”
“Tea in the Sahara”
“Murder by Numbers” (Summers, Sting)
Suburban_Plankton:
This has to be the ‘winner’, I think. If you’ve listened to AOR radio for any length of time over the past 40 years, you know all of these songs by heart.
More Than a Feeling
Peace of Mind
Foreplay/Long Time
Rock & Roll Band
Smokin’
Hitch a Ride
Something About You
Let Me Take You Home Tonight
Especially since they all sound pretty much the same. I guy across the hall in my freshman dorm played that album constantly, to the point where I never want to hear any of it again.
Alan Parson’s I* Robot* is a pretty good match for the OP, for prog rock fans at least, but it did cross over into the mainstream as well.
I Robot
I Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You

Don’t Let It Show
