Albums with no bad songs on them.

Any Foo Fighters album, especially One by One
Nirvana- Nevermind
Pearl Jam - Ten
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
Alice in Chains - Dirt and Unplugged
Weezer - Blue, Pinkerton, and Green
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes, From the Choirgirl Hotel

just an observation. I think Aesiron blames the hamsters so he or she can artificially boost his or her number of posts.

It really isn’t the hamsters, is it Aesiron ?

“This Perfect World” – Freedy Johnston.

Ah something ‘normal’. Then I’d add Journey - Infinity…

(normal to me, I guess)

Mer de Noms by Perfect Circle. Pure brilliance.

nothings shocking & ritual de lo habitual by janes addiction
led zep 4
paranoid by black sabbath
real thing & introduce yourself by faith no more
nation of millions by public enemy

these are about the only ones i can think of off the dome that i can listen to all the way through without skipping a track

Mr. Bungle - California. They finally stopped the avant-garde attempts to annoy their audience and got the third album perfect. (I do enjoy the oter two as well).

Most of my Classical CDs have no bad songs on them. Handel’s Messiah—definitely no bad songs on that. Frankly, I’m far more accustomed to buying albums and liking all or mostly all of the stuff on it.

Strange, Beautiful Music by Joe Satriani

The Endless Summer II Soundtrack by Gary Hoey

Puprendicular by Deep Purple

Kind of Blue - Miles Davis
Led Zeppelin II - Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin IV - Led Zeppelin
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Wilco
Entertainment - Gang of Four
Doolittle - Pixies
Call the Doctor - Sleater-Kinney
Chairs Missing - Wire
Three Feet High & Rising - De La Soul
No Depression - Uncle Tupelo
Treasure - Cocteau Twins
Murmur - REM
Odyssey and Oracle - The Zombies
Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys

Lemonheads - It’s a Shame About Ray
Odds - Nest
Promise Ring - Nothing Feels Good
All of Pink Floyds Big 4 albums (although the last 1/4 of the Wall is disappointing relative to the rest, I still wouldnt skip over it.)

I was trying to keep the classics out of this, since everyone was gonna pull them out and I knew it, by saying after 1990, but OK. We’ll just keep going this direction.

The Doors (Duh!)
Strange Days-The Doors(Double Duh!)
Jefferson Airplane-Surrealistic Pillow

Judas Priest: Unleashed in the East. (Best.Live.Album.Ever.)

The Circle Jerks: Wonderful (Seriously)

In addition to many fine ones mentioned:

ALL Pink Floyd with Roger Waters, none without him.

Roger Waters “Amused to Death” My best album purchase of 1991 and since then as well.
Tom Waits “Bone Machine” My other best album purchase of 1991 and since then as well. (In fact I love all Tom Waits albums)
Return to Forever “Romantic Warrior”
Miles Davis “Amandala”
Yes “Relayer”
these come to mind instantly.

Defined as “albums I will put in, push play, and not skip around at all, even if I’m within arms reach of the CD player and have nothing better to do”
Two of mine have already been said, but:
Nirvana- Nevermind
Metallica- Master of Puppets
Metallica- S&M Disc 2
Guns ‘n’ Roses- Apetite for Destruction
Tool- Opiate
Red Hot Chili Peppers- Californication
CCR- Chronicle (though, that’s a “best of”, so I don’t know if it should count)
Godsmack- Godsmack
Rammstein- Sehnsucht
And AFI’s All Hallows EP would be on the list if not for the 15-30 seconds of random sounds at the end of each track

Then, I reread the OP, noticed the “since 1990” bit and got 3 of mine DQ’d

Miscellaneous Debris–Primus. Not their best known work, but an incredible album of covers.

Odd - I immediately thought of Fore! by Huey Lewis and the News when I saw this thread!

I remember having a discussion with a friend years ago, and we agreed that it didn’t have a bad track on it.

You named Opeth, Symphony X, and Green Carnation? Please accept this award naming you Coolest Guy of the Week According to Lord Ashtar.

I would also add:

Iced Earth - Something Wicked This Way Comes
Lacuna Coil - Unleashed Memories and Comalies
Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Soundgarden - Superunknown and Down on the Upside

I could go on and on and on, but I really should be getting back to work now.
