Albums with no bad songs on them.

I’ll up the ante:

These are two albums where each of the songs are not only not bad, they are downright amazing.

Foetus - Nail
Suicidal Tendencies - Suicidal Tendencies

I know of no other albums that are quite as perfect, although some of the Misfit’s albums come close.

Pearl Jam-Ten (already said)
Beatles-Abbey Road (already mentioned, and worth mentioning even though it’s too old for consideration)
Guns N Roses-Appetite for Destruction (again…)
Angie Aparo-“The American”

Most of the ones I thought of, someone else thought of before I hit this thread, but I had to throw Angie’s name out there.

He’s a singer from GA, and “The American” is his album from 2000. He has a great voice, and songs that you like instantaneously. Faith Hill took a song from this album, “Cry” but I really felt she didn’t do it as well as he had orginally.

yeah, you hit the … err … nail on the head - har har

nail is a tremendous album – wore out the groove on that one

Depeche Mode - Violator
The Cure - Disintegration (called the best album ever on SOuth Park)
The Sisters of Mercy - Floodland

I agree. Best driving album ever.

“Ladies and gentlemen, watch Ruth!”

Other perfect albums that might or might not belong behind the wheel:

Moving Pictures - Rush

The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking - Roger Waters

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - Genesis

The Hissing of Summer Lawns - Joni Mitchell. The best cold buy I ever made.

Outside - David Bowie

Miscellaneous Debris - Primus

Blood Sugar Sex Magic - The Red Hot Chili Peppers

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd

And believe it or not…

To Live and Die in L.A. - Wang Chung

Hmm. Oops, I guess.

Dave Davies – Bug

Heres on everyone else missed:

Hollywood Town Hall by The Jayhawks. Just about the perfect album.

Discover it!

Sweet. If I mention 'em again next week, can I win then too?

Hmm…Tuonela’s pretty sweet. Haven’t heard all of Far From The Sun yet. I’m not a big In Flames fan, but I guess Clayman’s pretty good. Something Wicked This Way Comes is good, but I think it has a couple weak tracks in the middle. Porcupine Tree and Soundgarden aren’t really my thing. Comalies is pretty good, but I’ve only listened to it once, so I can’t really offer an opinion for this thread.

If you haven’t already, check out Devin Townsend’s Infinity.

Elton John’s “Less Then Zero”

Every song on the album is great!

Also I might add the soundtrack to Headwig and the Angry Inch.

Boston-Boston
Led Zep 2
Iron Maiden-Powerslave,Piece of mind,Number of the beast
BOC-Spectors
Van Halen 2
AC/DC-Back in black
Kiss- Dressed to kill, Hotter than hell
Soundgarden-Superunknown
Dream Theater-Images and words
Rush-moving pictures

My Favorites.

Darn no edit button!

Well I forgot to add…

Mariah Carey’s “Music Box”

dodges all the rotton tomatoes

NY Dolls-Too Much Too Soon
Sex Pistols- Never Mind The Bollocks
Dead Kennedys-Bedtime For Democracy
Motorhead-Bomber
Ramones-any of the first three
Fleshtones-Roman Gods
The Avengers-ST Lp on the CD Presents label
The Cynics-Living Is The Best Revenge
Corrosion Of Conformity-Animosity (The only good COC Lp IMHO)
Mudhoney-March To Fuzz (Its a comp, but man, what a comp)

Thats enough for now.

Too lazy to check the whole thread to see if this is a repeat:
