Alcohol poisoning

Well, not if a person doesn’t have a real good understanding of fine liquors. At 21, though I was academically sophisticated, I had NO fine foods and liquor education. Plus, they both were drunk already, her judgment was likely fairly skewed.

Yes, HE did and very well too, some of the others in this thread were who I was chastising insofar as being jerks and insulting her taste and intelligence

Again, I was referring to others in this thread dissing people for not liking certain foods/drinks and then correlating that with them being “immature” or not having “taste” NOT defending her for her actions.

Um, yes, but I was only addressing her “boo boo” in most of my post as the impetus for the snobbish “if you don’t appreciate fine whiskey your taste buds are undeveloped and immature” posts here in this thread, NOT using them to say she was justified.

You must not have read my post if that’s what you go out of it.

Buttonjockey, In other words, you Obviously missed where I stated “To the REST of you who were ready to have her tarred and feathered” and so on.

I must have. I sit corrected. The sheer magnitude of the incident had me discombobulated. Apologies.

S’okay

 Heresy!

Nice attitude, So anyone who enjoys a good liquor every now and again MUST be an alcoholic right?:wally

I keep several bottles of fine liquor and decent wine about and break them out for special occasions. Sometimes :: looks about to make sure nobody’s listening:: I even have a drink just because I’d like one!

Most people who enjoy good food will tell you that a good wine, or beer is an excellent compliment to the meal. Besides being a good add-on to your meal, in low quantities it’s good for your heart and mental state.

He showed real class by not going off on her. Good bourbon’s not cheap, and thus not easily replaced.

Cheers!
