Why do you keep referring to legislation when this is a case of some private companies enforcing their rules, and not continuing to provide a platform for someone that can’t follow their rules?

They used the term “hate speech”. This term is politically loaded because many authoritarian governments have passed laws against hate speech.
If a resataurant has pancakes on the menu, and I consider them waffles, I would want to get to the bottom of just what a pancake is in the view of the larger society.
I simply asked for an example of what these companies consider hate speech. I have not received that example.
The closest formulation I can come up with and still be a somewhat-decent human being is “While I sympathize with your loss, there is a larger issue at stake.”
