Re Alexa Ray Joel I’ve rarely seen a kid that looked like such a perfect conglomeration of her parents.
I think she was lucky to get her father’s big soulful eyes, but I realize I’m not with the majority in that. I’m always surprised at people who think Anne Hathaway looks freaky, but then, that’s why Bastard Robbins has 32 flavors.
From the photos I’ve seen, she got the best of each parent.
I’m twice her age, but I could get lost in those big brown eyes.
Well, she might not be classically beautiful, but she certainly is distinctive-looking.
They do look just like Billy Joel’s eyes, though, and that’s just squicking me out.
I can’t see any of Christie Brinkley in her, just her father.
When you consider who the father is, she is not as ugly as she could have been.
Genetics can be cruel. She got father’s looks and her mother’s musical talent.
In that picture of the 3 of them they look really uncomfortable.
She looks more like dad to me.
I’m sorry, but she has always looked just freaky to me. It had to be hard to grow up with Christie Brinkley as your mom when you look like that.
I can’t say that she looks all that much like either of her parents, but I certainly can’t argue with the end results. Wherever she got it from, she got it good.
Each of her features is pretty on its own but the whole taken all together looks like a collage put together with one of those old police indenti-kits. I find the overall look kind of disturbing.
I think she’s “unconventionally” drop-dead gorgeous.
Huh, I’ve always thought to myself that I can see absolutely nothing of Christie Brinkley in Alexa’s face, features, figure, or interests. She’s Billy’s (cute, young, female) clone.
I wouldn’t peg these two as having had any common ancestors in the last 10 generations.

Okay, they do both have great breasts, which could be identical for all I know.
I remember seeing a docu-type thing on Billy about ten years ago, and in a very short segment Alexa Ray showed up and played a little thing on the piano. She was about 15 or 16 at the time, and I thought, hm, she’s a cute kid, somehow she got her dad’s eyes but they work on her.
But now, she’s too made up, or something, especially in the OP’s link, and I don’t think I’d be able to wake up next to her without seeing Billy laying next to me singing “It’s Still Rock & Roll To Me”. Aaaaaaaghhhhhhh!
She has Christy’s mouth but the rest is Billy. Shame.
She’s gorgeous. I can see the parts of her that resemble her after clearly, but somehow they make her look alluring, not freaky. If I saw a woman who looked like this in a bar, I’d be chatting her up in a New York minute.
There’s an old anecdote (whether it’s true, I have no idea) that Isadora Duncan propositioned George Bernard Shaw, saying how wonderful it would be to have a child with his brain and her body. Shaw, supposedly, declined, saying “What if our child had your brain and MY body?”
Well… now we know. Alexa Joel has Christie’s musical talent and her Dad’s beauty.
She has her mother’s big mouth and her father’s big, puppy-dog eyes. And she looks a thousand times better since she had her nose done. Before and After.
I think she was adorable before and after. Still, she’s an excellent example of good plastic surgery.
I also can’t see any of her mother in her. I think another good example of children who are a very obvious blend of their parents (and unfortunately not in a good way) are Rumer Willis(daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis)and Miley Cyrus who is a mixture of her parents but didn’t seem to get the right part parts of either
