Alien visits

My son has claimed since he was 10 years old he has been taken. My daughter said she even experienced seeing this. He was screaming and she went to his bedroom and he was floating above the bed and all of his things were spinning or animated. I never heard it or saw it. I took him for a haircut and he has this white spot on the back of his head, which is a birthmark I guess, but I never saw it in 10 years.

He has said that he has been abducted recently. He was really freaked out and crying. He is 23 now.

I started thinking about weird things in my life. I have these crazy vivid dreams. It usually involves work. A few years ago I had this recurring dream where I was wide awake and totally paralyzed. Drop down ladders came out of my air vents. I was laying totally naked, even though I am sure I went to bed in pjs. All these people or things came down and surrounded me. Some looked like work colleagues, but most were a background audience. I could not move I could not speak. It was horrible. This is a recent recurrence in my life.

I do not know how to make him feel better. Any advice. I almost think it might be true.

Reported for forum change.

Since this is basically asking for advice, I’m going to move it to IMHO.

You’re son has been abducted by aliens twice and returned?

Isn’t that a little bit of a coincidence since most of us have never been abducted once?

I had a dream last night that I was in a movie house (tickets were eighty cents) with two girls whom I haven’t seen since college. It was very realistic, and my wife didn’t mind being woken up for me to finish what was started in the dream state.

Oh, and floating over the bed with items also moving is a sign of either poltergeist action or psychokinetic activity, no aliens needed. Consult with a priest for an exorcism if it continues.

I had an out-of-body dream once. I dreamt that I was looking down at my body that was in a bed with a cast on my right ankle and that I had been abducted by friends (I guess some of them might be aliens) and put in the hospital as a practical joke. Then I woke up and, not only did I recall the dream vividly (I still so), but also very gradually came to the realization that I had broken my ankle and was actually lying in a hospital bed with a cast on my leg. Some dream. Some aliens.

I would go with him to see someone who specializes in treating PTSD.

What “advice” could anyone possibly offer, other than “don’t hurt yourself straining against the straight jacket?”

Joe

Some sort of psychological doctor is in order. Your dreams and his ‘visits’ are probably unrelated. You have no idea if the dreams and the visits happened at the same time.
The ‘birthmark’ must have developed after birth. This does happen. Not an alien visitor.

My advice is to just seek out God anyway you know how (any faith, any method), in that search there is the answers you and your son are seeking.

Are you familiar with the phenomenon of sleep paralysis?

Not at all uncommon and probably the cause of your experience and possibly your son’s. There are many threads on this forum in which people have shared their experiences with it.

Did your daughter tell you about seeing your son floating at the time, or did that come later? If your son has been telling her about his abduction for years, then she may have constructed the memory.

Regardless of the reality of your son’s experiences, it sounds like he is disturbed by them and could use some professional help.

The spot on your son’s scalp may be from ringworm, BTW.

But it could be a alien ringworm!

First off, I’d have a talk with your daughter and ask her to stop enabling your son’s delusions.

Second, you son needs counseling from a professional.

The patch of white hair, at least, is likely unrelated to any hypothetical aliens. It’s probably just some nice, harmless alopecia areata. This can and does show up at any time during childhood and sometimes later. It’s supposed to be preceded by hair loss in the same spot, but the hair can grow back quickly and any loss might not have been very noticeable. I have the same thing, I’ve had it since early childhood, and I’ve not even been abducted once… at least as far as I know. :dubious:

Checks self for alien implants.

Were the aliens small brown bipeds with long snouts?

Maybe Trumpy is back?
