"Aliens" comics question—did they ever show space fighters, or other atmospheric craft?

I have* odd technical question for any readers, if any, of the “Aliens” comics—based on the Cameron movie—published off-and-on from 1988 to the present:

That is, did any of them ever happen to show any fighter air/spacecraft, or even any atmospheric craft, aside from the Dropship design from the film?

Like I said, odd longshot off a question, but I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul. Can anyone help me out?

*Yeah, I know, right? “Surprise, surprise, surprise.”

Last time I checked, the only intelligent space faring race in the comics is us. One of the miniseries has a return of the dead space jockey, but I don’t recall any other intelligent extra terrestrials. Thus, no fighters are necessary.

To those who haven’t read the comics

I recommend them highly. They don’t just continue the story of the films. They expand the universe the films happen in and tell other unrelated stories. Fer example

The miniseries Faith and Sacrifice ask what a devout Christian would do when confronted with the Aliens.

Music Of The Spears is about one of the last musicians in a world where music is produced by computers and played by droids. He wants an alien so he can sample it for his music.
Further, when it’s discovered that aliens produce royal jelly nearly everybody is interested. The military discovers with some minor tweaking it works as a fantastic performance enhancer. Druggies discover that it gives great trips.

There’s also a cult that worships the aliens- The Church Of The Queen Mother. They use royal jelly as a eucharist.

What’s the independently targeting particle beam phalanx for, then?*

Seriously, though, thanks for the reply, but it turns out I have to contradict you—I was browsing for Aliens tidbits the other night, and I stumbled across a site of a homebrew Aliens RPG…with some fighters and misc. attack craft, illustrations apparently taken from the Aliens comics.

A visit to the local comics shop confirmed at least a couple of those are from the later Aliens Omnibuses, but some of the earlier volumes weren’t present, and I couldn’t find some of the real beauties in the ones that were present.

Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten a response from the RPG creator for confirmation, and the Interlibrary Loan is going to take a while before I can check out the comics collections for myself. But I don’t suppose those last two pictures ring any bells for anyone?

*Kidding aside, I’m sure it’s for hostile/rebellious human forces. Or the Yautja.

Funny enough but that is a background detail that isn’t filled out i the films, remember the line in Aliens about “not another bug hunt?” turns out in the novelization and background material rebellious colonies often use genetically engineered creatures as weapons. The Alien universe is really a terrifying corporate dystopia:)
