June 1st is National Donut Day!

I thought, what better and more appropriate place to share this information than right here on the Dope?

So go to your favorite donut shop and celebrate. Most likely, they’ll give you a free donut. Heck, it may be busy enough you can go out of the shop and come back in for a second free donut with no one being the wiser.

Or you can go around to all your area donut shops and collect a dozen of them for your coworkers. They’ll think you’re being extravagant and lavish. Only you’ll know the truth. Or do all this and keep them all for yourself. Call it a scavenger hunt.

I got a free donut with my coffee at Dunkin Donuts this morning. Not a bad way to start a Friday.

I got a free donut at Dunkin too, and I hardly ever go there. Just happened to have a break, and went in for coffee.

Did indulge in a donut today, from WalMart. No, it wasn’t free. Dangit!
