All twitter links coming up corrrupted on my tablet. WTF?

Actually, I should specify all twitter links that originate from the SDMB. I don’t think I get links to twitter from any other source.

If anyone is inclined to share their expertise, here is my basic information: the tablet is a Samsung SMT-217S, operating on an Android platform, version 4.4.2. My browser is Firefox. I do not have a twitter application.

The errror message reads as follows: **Corrupted Content Error

The site at [twitter user information] has experienced a network protocol violation that cannot be repaired.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected.

  1. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.**

This is not an issue if I follow a link on my iPhone (which is very small, and makes for an inferior browsing experience).

N.B. I just now visited a webcomic that I follow, and followed a link to one of the artist’s tweets. Succcessfully.

Missed the edit window: The successful viewing of the webcomic tweet was achieved on my tablet, btw.

So, if anyone has any ideas, TIA.
