I don’t think Ed Zotti did ANYTHING wrong. He posted something he knew would be of interest and concern to Lynn’s many friends and admirers. He posted the knowledge he had been given. The fact that Lynn didn’t actually end up in the hospital isn’t relevant anyway. Her condition is no less serious just because they found another way to treat her. I hope with all my heart that this treatment is successful. I think you might have missed the fact that if it ISN’T successful, the hospital will be the next step. Let us focus on sending good thoughts and prayers, or whatever you feel able to send…so that Lynn will get better and that won’t be an issue.
In any case, I don’t think this thread is a place to discuss any concerns you have with anyone. It is Lynn’s thread. Please do me a large favor and take it to email.
Lynn, I’m so glad to hear that you’re doing better and that things aren’t as serious as was at first thought. You keep on doin’ better, hon. I’m sending warm, healin’ thoughts your way.
[giggle] I’ve seen an itty bitty kitty put a dog that was far larger than her in his place. She was protectin’ one of her kittens. By the time she got finished scratchin’ his nose and hissin’ and spittin’ and carryin’ on, he was putty in her lil paws.
<------------- Ignores tracer, gaily offers Lynn a delicious and refreshing Zombie Cucumber Smoothie.
Hey, in for a penny, in for a pound- I’m just so glad she’s on the wrap. Er…mend. Besides, she’s got diabetes, not Pyrphoria… ( Classic Cecil Moment ).
sigh … All right, you win. I’ll go get my silver bullets and wooden stake. And I’d better put on my earmuffs, too, just in case a Banshee gets thrown into the mix.
Sure. Go ahead. Kill me for my inept coding. No, really- it’s not an overreaction. Honest.
I say we send Skywriting Pilots up over Lynn’s house, who will artfully paint the lovely blue and yellow Straight Dope banner for all to see !!! That’ll perk her up, by gum !
