I think the general rule is about 5% of the text consitutes fair use. Or is that just for song lyrics? Well, either way, you can copy enough of the article to let people get the gist of it, but not more than a few paragraphs. Link to the rest. You could also paraphrase the information from the link in your own words if you were so inclined.
