Allowing application through Firewall

To pass the time during the current crisis, my friend and I (both ‘self-isolating’) want to play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Multiplayer over the Internet. :cool:

On our first attempt, Windows Firewall blocked the program. :frowning:

Later I looked on the Internet and found that I could ‘allow app through Firewall’ and we’ve both told our Firewall to allow Heroes. Then we are going to try playing tonight.
So far, so good.

Now here’s my question.
On my second computer I have McAfee Firewall. When I enter it, the desired option ‘allow app through Firewall’ is greyed out.
What is going on? :confused:

There may be a setting in the McAfee options menu that needs to be changed. You may be logged in as a user without the option to change that. Often you have to have full administrator rights to change antivirus software settings. I do not use McAfee, so I can’t point you in a specific direction.
