Look, we all knew that The Man in Black[sup]TM[sup] was not long for this world. He was hurtin and no matter how much he had contributed to music, it was his time. But…
WHY JOHN RITTER?
Why’d you have to go and take John Ritter, too? Of all the actors of my childhood, John Ritter is one of the only ones who was still around, still making a difference in the entertainment business.
His new show was “Married with children” without white trash. It was funny. It wasn’t a milestone, but it was 30 minutes of my life that didn’t make me want to E-mail the fucking producers and ask for back(a rarity these days).
Anyway, it is the manifest Will of God[sub]TM[/sub] that you watch nothing but swill on Friday night television. So it is written, so shall it be done.
Apropos of nothing I am double sad not only for Cash and Ritter, but I also found out recently that Joeseph Marques, singer for Winter Hours, one of my faves from the 80s, died of heart failure at age 40. God must be culling entertainers this month…
Relax. You’re making the Baby Jesus turn over in his grave.
Perhaps you should look at the bright side of life. There must be some other entertainers you enjoy still alive. Why don’t you turn your attention to them?
TVAA- John Ritter’s death isn’t making me cranky, you are. You asked a question, I answered it, then you ignored it. This isn’t a thread about thread titles or usernames. It’s a brief rant about the death of an actor.
Sam
P.S.- I enjoy many living actors, thanks. I don’t even remember saying that John Ritter was my favorite actor…just that his death has touched me. Please don’t read between the lines and make a mountain of a molehill.
