Alright, so he IS kinda heavy

Why not? “I’m a seriously bad dude” is just as much of a brag as “I’m such a nice guy”

Sixty Minute Man.

I Am Woman

Not to be confused with I’m a Woman

And for some reason a lot of songs seem like the singer is proud to figure out their true love is cheating.

I Can see for Miles

Every Breath You Take

You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine by Lou Rawls. Even though he claims he isn’t bragging on himself, he is.

I Believe In You from How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying counts when you remember he’s singing the song to his reflection in the mirror.

Da Ya Think I’m Sexy? - Rod Stewart

Yeah, but bragging isn’t really what it seems the OP is going for. But in your defense, most of the other responses don’t seem to fit either.

The OP wrote “make a playlist of songs about what a great guy I am” and his/her three examples fit that. Examples about what a great lover or how sexy one is don’t really fit.

Why?

When people talk about what a “great guy” someone is, they generally don’t mean what a skillful lover or how sexy one is. A “great guy” is charitable, selfless, a very helpful friend, etc. That common definition of “great guy” is what is being bragged about in the three examples the OP gave.

Ok, but I was looking more at the self-aggrandizing description of the OP. But I can see what you’re saying too.

Mac Davis, “Oh Lord, It’s Hard to Be Humble (When You’re Perfect in Every Way)”

The line in “St. James Infirmary” has always jarred me a little: “She may search the whole world over, never find a sweet man like me.”

Me Too by Meghan Trainor

“I’m So Beautiful” – Divine

“Brass in Pocket” – the Pretenders (“I’m special, SOOO special…”)

“Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me?” – Keith Urban

“Hold On, I’m Coming” - Sam & Dave

I Am Woman, Helen Reddy

Soul Man by Sam and Dave

Just want to say that I love playing the intro to that song.

How about the ‘Friends’ theme?

mmm

Hmm. Well, you probably need to narrow your scope a bit. Most people who write, sing, produce and do all the other work needed to get a song to be a famous hit, do so because on some level they are narcissistic, so there are TONS of self-worship songs.

Maybe what you want are just the most maudlin, annoying ones.

Like “Diary,” by Bread.
