A few things…
*A lot of the quotes that usually show Bourdain dissing other chefs are in list-type articles that pull quotes from 10-15 years ago. Does Bourdain have a blog or regular outlet where he’s still snarking on U.S. chefs and food personalities? He doesn’t seem to do it on Parts Unknown.

A lot of Bourdain’s criticisms of others doesn’t actually have to do with actual cooking, but in the television/media side of things. Bourdain knows that Bobby Flay and Emeril Lagasse are far better chefs than he could ever be and built their reps through their excellent restaurants, but he has or will knock their TV shows.

Speaking of cooking on TV, when was the last time anyone saw Alton cook something on TV? He’s basically been a game-show host for the past five years or so.
