Sometimes, the troll is the last one to know. I can see how someone might think I am.
I posted another link to evolution over at the Pizza Parlor and Navigator has certainly raised the possibility. I do hope I get some intelligent response to what I posted. I do hope that someone over there will at least acknowledge the possibility of evolution. (And Navigator did.)
Look at what I did over there and tell me: Am I a troll? If I am, I’ll stop being one.

That being said, the last couple posts of yours have been confrontational, and it might be my perception alone, that makes see feel a certain, ‘cast, spin, reel’ to your posts.
I’ll try to temper that.

You take this issue seriously. Very seriously. Unfortunately, no amount of evidence will change the minds of those whose minds are shut like a trap. I speak not of Navigator, who I feel has the right attitude about this (should be a non-)issue (even though he naturally wants to defend those on his board), but of the Mr. Anderson’s of the world.
A month ago or so I posted a Real Audio file of Hovind debating a Christian who believed in evolution. I saw the debating techniques used. I saw the underhandedness. I saw the illogic. I saw, in fact, rudeness.
The fact is he, like many of his brethern, are scared. They are so scared to death that if one thing shatters their little worldview that the Bible can answer everything man needs to know (and there’s no need to ask further), their whole world will fall apart.
Facts will never overcome irrational fears. In fact, you might say that there is no difference between these guys and those with phobias. Irrational fears which evidence will never turn around…

Lemme, I guess, clarify.
The post on the Parlor wasn’t a bad post. A good article, and question, worthy of discussion.
That the post was cross-linked to another thread, with the question ‘I wonder what they’ll say about this?’ is IMHO a bit trollish.
The intention could be 180 out of my perception, but that is how I saw it.
