I’d have to be really, REALLY drunk to try that.
I’ve actually tried the bacon salt and IMO it sucked. It provided a chemical approximation of bacon with another chemical taste that made me think “floor cleaner”.
Ouch. That is a terrible thing to do to a perfectly good bottle of Maker’s Mark.

I like bacon just fine, but I don’t know why the Straight Dope, and the internet in general, has such a boner over it.
I’ve never liked bacon.
