I really did like your show. I also fall into the “how did he DO that???” routine after seeing a good show – just part of being curious. Knowing the answer, I won’t ask you how you did it. This trick, I at least had an idea how it could be done (despite my apparently faulty memory). The trick with the large 5 of Diamonds card sitting on the chair in the background, I had no clue.
Anyway, keep up the great shows! I hope to see your show again sometime.
That is pretty cool! Thanks for coming by, Max Maven. I love how you switched the emphasis on the trick from the performer to the failed “skeptical analysis” by the observer even in the response! Absolutely wonderful magic even in an online forum!
I don’t know if this is really The Max Maven or not, but I agree that you can never rely on someone’s memory of a trick. When I first read the OP I had numerous ideas on how the trick could have been done, but did not offer those ideas since I did not see the trick myself. If there was video then maybe it’s worthwhile discussing, but not when it’s just someone’s account of what he/she saw. After all, a key to any trick is to leave the spectators thinking they saw what they saw instead of what really happened.
