Oh, for Christ’s sakes, is this gawdawful thread still going on? I expected it to die after maybe 4 posts. Since then I last checked in on page 5, and the insanity was still strong. Like The Force. Darth version. I stopped even reading the Dope since. I’ve just read the last few posts and there seemed to be a lot of curiosity.
OK, little update.
I got home a little over an hour ago. I’m exhausted, mostly from the hellish bus ride home and dragging my clownishly-sized suitcase over snowbanks. I left her at noon and got in at 9:00. That’s way too much travel, especially for going to just one state over. Next time I’ll find an alternate route.
It was a fantastic weekend! Nice B&B, wonderful woman, great area to visit. I’m really glad I went. So is she. We plan to do it again. She wants me to go to her hometown next time and meet her friends and get me into her world. Sounds good to me. I suggseted meeting at the same place again, maybe in 2 weeks (VDay?) or in spring, or summer, or fall.
I’m tired. Maybe more tomorrow, maybe not.
Need… sleep…
