Am I taking advantage of Scotticher?

It’s no secret that I adore Scotticher…she’s a bright, beautiful woman.
…so it makes me feel a little guilty to be taking advantage of her and her blind devotion to her beloved Seattle Mariners. Granted, the M’s are doing miraculously well this season, especially in light of the players they lost during the off season.

But Scotti has issued a challenge to me: The Mariners will sweep the Anaheim Angels in their upcoming series in Seattle or she owes me…well, that’ll be between us.

Will the M’s beat the Halos? No doubt. 2 out of 3? Maybe. But sweep? Come on. Either she had her head shaved a little too close on Jay Buehner Day or she’s been hit in the head once too often with a fungo. Yeah, okay, the M’s are good, but they ain’t playin’ the Devil Rays, fer crissakes.

Am I evil for taking advantage of Scotti’s innocence? Or am I being snookered?

I would say that since you don’t know how to spell Buhner, you probably aren’t in a good enough position to be evaluating the Mariners’ chances of doing anything.
