Am I the only one that was getting sick of watching Angie Harmon last night???

Memo to ABC’s Monday Night Football:

She’s a very, very beautiful woman . . and a pleasure to look at.

That said . . we do NOT need to see Angie Harmon’s reaction to EVERY SINGLE FUCKING PLAY THE NEW YORK GIANTS MAKE because her husband, Jason Sehorn is on the field. Once or twice is okay- 6-7 times? Obnoxious. Especially to Eagles fans.

And frankly I am even LESS interested in just seeing her sitting there glum because suddenly her hubbie’s team is losing. Wait- that was kind of funny. After 90 minutes of ABC cameras fawning over the bimbo, she kind of looked stupid as she was sat down by the Eagles after jumping up and down like a bubbleheaded cheerleader all night.

I’m not sure which is worse- her, or shots of Boomer Esiason’s son jumping up and down in the skybox every time the Bengals score.

Why do networks overkill this kind of stuff??? Besides, they will probably divorce in a few years anyway.

Oh, did I mention . . Eagels 10, Angie’s team, 9???

I will never tire of watching Angie Harmon.
Foolish question.

So there was some sort of football contest or something?

Just gotta say that she was a lot more interesting to watch than the game.

After Sehorn’s corner blitz and sack of McNabb, she was jumping up and down shrieking something like “I’m going to ride you blind tonight, Jason!” I admit, I felt a little jealous. However, my petty bitterness shone through, and I gloated when the Giants lost.

Feh.

It beats the endless World Series reaction shots of Anxious Middle-Aged Female Fans, which we are guaranteed to see at least 5,297 times.

yes.

I doubt Jason Sehorn is the only NFL player who had a hot wife in attendance last night. Or even the only one with a famous wife.

Now, I wouldn’t complain if they showed ALL of those hotties, in succession, during the lull after each play. I don’t know how those guys can concentrate on football. (And NHL wives are even hotter.)

Still, the Angie Harmon Show last night did provide the first laugh-out-loud Dennis Miller moment for me this season. They show a shot of Harmon, and Al Michaels is talking about Sehorn’s great, acrobatic interception in the NFC Championship Game last year.

“It was the signature play of his career,” Michaels said.

“Uh, Al, I think she was the signature play of his career,” responded Dennis.

read the question in the orig post like a fortune cookie, and the answer is a resounding “NO!”

I actually think there’s a practical reason why the do this- they’re catoring to the female audience.

Reminds me of the time that the University of Kentucky were in the NCAA basketball tournament and they would do frequent cuts to UK Alum Ashley Judd, getting excited, jumping around and claping in a tiny tee. Turned me into an instant UK backer…hey the longer they were in the tournament the better…

I have no problem with Angie Harmon on my TV at any time.

Could’ve been Kurt Warner’s wife.

[sub]Okay that was too mean. Someone please flog me…[/sub]

As a completely heterosexual woman, I’ve gotta say, even I wouldn’t get sick of seeing Angie Harmon.

No. What you want more?

Okay, I find all those reaction shots annoying, Brooke Shields, Steffi Graf, Brigette Wilson-Sampras, Warner’s wife etc. While Harmon is quite pretty, do I really need to see her looking concered after every play? C’mon.

Plus I think Jason Sehorn is incredibly overrated, in large part because of his wife.

And here I thought that you, like me, had stayed up until midnight flipping back and forth between A&E and TNT so that you could see a continuous stream of Law & Order episodes. Clearly my answer to the OP is NO. Then again, I’m not a football fan, and I also got to see Sam Waterston and Jerry Orbach all night.

Actually, I kind of dig Mrs. Warner. She reminds me of John McCain’s wife, a pretty hot older lady. And from what I read, the Warners seem like really decent people with quite a story behind his rise in the NFL.

Besides, check out Brenda Warner’s rack!

That of course does NOT mean I wont to see her on TV 50 times during a game!

I think all that “Active Copper” she’s slathering on her face is causing brain damage to her viewers.

“Active Copper”: Is that a ridiculous marketing ploy or what?
