As for “attention whore,” that’s the inevitable result of file sharing (something I predicted when Napster first appeared). It’s the main way for anyone to find out about your music, and if you don’t constantly self-promote, you lose. If you don’t like it – remember that’s the price you chose to pay.

‘s funny, I have no idea what any of my favourite female musicians’ tits look like (and female musicians make up easily 75% of what I listen to) and I find out about their music just fine. There’s attention whoring and then there’s attention whoring.
And before anyone chips in, this isn’t slut shaming, I’m fine with sluts. I’m talking about the stuff I mentioned in my first post as well.

I feel like I read something expressing sentiments similar to this recently. It seems eerily familiar, almost as if it were linked to in the OP of this very thread.

I won’t open her blog while I am at work, as my experience indicates it may be against our internet policy. If she agrees with my opinions, it demonstrates that she is a remarkably insightful, intelligent and reasonable woman.
