Bringing the thread down, I know, but I don’t find anything about Amy Winehouse fodder for humor. The woman is completely lost and slowly killing herself, and it’s sad to see her all-but-inexorable decline.
Although never what I would consider a beauty, I’d rather think of Amy when she looked like this, than in any of the thousands of images circling the globe of her in an emaciated, drug-addled state everyone seems to have great pleasure ridiculing.
Ain’t gonna touch that link. She may have been relatively hittable in her early years, but nowadays you don’t know where that cooter’s been. She may be lost and killing herself, but I have trouble generating sympathy for self-inflicted conditions. I smoke and will probably get cancer if I don’t quit, but it’s my own damn fault.
