Eccles, my cat, died some months back, he was 15 years old.
He was a fully paid up member of MENSA, had taken hang gliding lessons and could fly a Boeing 747 and was in fact employed on a part time basis by British Airways.
One of his unreported feats was the fact that 7 years ago he swam The English Channel both ways without a pause (or paws) and it only took him 12½ hours.
He could also play the violin ♪
