I dunno if this was intentional or an account that was hacked, but I reported it anyway just in case. No offense if you actually meant to post this.
It’s not clear to me how a link to a great goal on bleacher report by a long time poster would remotely be reportable…
It triggered my spam sense, mostly because there was about zero commentary on it.
Like i said, the account might have been hacked. I have vague memories of that happening. If it’s not spam, no harm no foul.
Isosleepy is a Dutch poster, posting about a thing happening in the Dutch league. I’d say we can pretty sure it is not spam.
Not sure what more needed to be said. I could’ve gotten flowery, and stated that it was a goal comparable to Messi or Ronaldo at their very finest, yet made by a goal keeper, and at the end of extra time to boot. It’s worth the 15 seconds if you like amazing soccer goals.
And yes, I am Dutch by origin, but in fact heard about this on the BBC on Sirius. The fact that it’s a Dutch league is just happenstance.
Reminds me of something Ibrahimovic would try.
…son of a motherless goat
What an incredibel goal!!!
He’s going to be commenting on that goal for the rest of his life
Was the player taking the kick trying to lay it in to the keeper?
It may not be as stylish, but nothing, for me, beats Jimmy Glass:
“His moment of fame came on 8 May 1999, in the final match of the 1998–99 season against Plymouth Argyle, which Carlisle needed to win to avoid relegation. With the score 1–1 with only ten seconds remaining, and Carlisle winning a corner, Glass came up from his own penalty area and promptly scored a last minute goal, volleying the ball in after the Plymouth goalkeeper had parried out Scott Dobie’s goalbound header. Carlisle got the win they needed and Scarborough were relegated to the Football Conference instead after a 1–1 draw with Peterborough.”
(Sorry for not using quotes but this board seems to like crashing Safari on my iPad)
That came to my mind as well… Jimmy Glass’s goal.
Amazing.
