Amazing Race Mar. 21, 2010 Expect Delay from B-Ball

 So if a woman is rude, mean to her partner, whiny, and just comes across as a not nice person, it’s misogynistic to call her a bitch, when in fact she is acting like a bitch? Do you get on a high horse when one of the male contestants acts like a dick and is therefore called a dick?

Oh, come off it. As (I assume) another resident gay man, I don’t see either homophobia or misogyny here. Brandy (I think) is an entitled, prissy, whiny, snide, unpleasant bitch in her actions toward both the race itself and the other teams. Calling her that is not misogyny. And calling two people who are, to all appearances, lesbians, lesbians, is not homophobia. You may, in fact, be one of the only people in this thread who has actually attempted to discern their exact sexual orientation, because (and this is important) IT DOESN’T MATTER! We’re watching The Amazing Race, not This American Life. Their orientation is no more than a handy label to refer to them by in this context. And I’d feel the same way if they were a gay male team. It’s not realistic to assume that the average viewer of TAR is going to check into each racer’s dating history to determine whether they’re 100% lesbian or 49/51 straight or whatever.

Eh, Zach was actually a decent human being. Flo had enough douche in her for both of them, though, I suppose.
