Just stumbled on this amazing russian choir music (the link below). Can anyone recommend more music in this vein. What composer/choir should I look for as a complete novice in the tradition of russian music?

The only thing coming to mind right now is the Dmitri Pokrovsky Ensemble (Ансамбль Дмитрия Покровского), who did record a few orthodox hymns similar to your examples. They collected and performed a vast variety of other traditional music and authentic folk songs too, but the livelier tunes may be a bit of an acquired taste I guess.
