I went out to dinner with the women in my marathon training class.
When I got home, I bragged to my husband about the amazingly eclectic group we have. A photographer, a nurse, a nuclear technician, an oral historian, a forensic scientist…
It is so cool to be in the company of such highly educated, physically fit and beautiful women. I feel like I ate dinner with the future leaders of the world or something.

Nice company to keep! The last time I was out with the girls, it was a Blockbuster employee, two waitresses, a woman who sold athletic shoes, and a stay-at-home mom who spends her husband’s money at the gambling boat! Anybody got a cold beer?
