Amazon products - What happend to "answered questions"?

When I shop on Amazon, I’ve always seen, and used, the links that say, for example, 3,778 ratings | 172 answered questions.

Lately, though, only the ratings link works - it takes me to the reviews of the products. The answered questions link takes me to the same place, with nary a Q nor an A in sight

I’ve been trying this with different products and on different browsers with no joy.

Do me a favor if you get a moment and see if you can see some actual Amazon product Qs and As, and if you do, let me know the product so I can determine if my computer is haunted in some way.

Q&A seems to still be there, but “hidden” by a search bar. type anything in that Questions search bar and then a link to the Q & A section appears. At least that’s how it’s behaving for me. Def seems like a bug. If intentional, kind of dumb to do it that way.

The few products that i found with Qs showed way fewer Qs than were shown
at the top. Eg, where it says “1233 ratings | 89 questions”, i would find, say, 6 after
typing something in the search box (immediately above the reviews).
Definitely something amiss.

I noticed the same behavior several days ago. I found the following workaround on the net:

In the Looking for specific info? section, type a single period (.) in the search box. Then select Customer Q&As. This action displays most Q&As. You might have to select links titled See other answers to see additional Q&As.

Try asking Amazon about it. After an update on the Amazon Prime Video app I had problems with their closed captions, which I really rely on. I looked around for an explanation and finally messaged my question to someone there.

I got a reply a few days later thanking me for alerting them about it. The problem had been fixed. I then got a follow up message from the same person telling me I should watch for a new “audio boost” thing that might be helpful. I’ve been using it and like it.

Perhaps inputting a period into the search box just causes Amazon to look for periods in the Q&As.

Right, but you only get to see the questions that pertain to your search query. It’s SUPER ANNOYING.

This worked for me a few weeks ago, haven’t tried it lately:

1- Find the (Amazon) ASIN code for the product in question. Might be way down the page. Copy the code.

2- Enter this in your browser address bar, after replacing the sixth item with the ASIN code you copied.
