Well, if you want quality, next week is “Happy Gilmore” week on AMC. Nothing says classic American movie better than Adam Sandler.

For a long time you couldn’t channel surf without seeing “Dirty Dancing” running on at least two channels.
According to IMDB:
"After the film gained popularity, Ted Turner sold the television rights to TNT, his own network, for much lower than normal for such a big film. Because it is so inexpensive to show, the film is broadcast on TNT extremely often. "
I think Turner also has a large interest in AMC. Coincidence?
It seems like there was a period of a few years in the mid-late 2000s, when you couldn’t go a single weekend without seeing Goodfellas on some cable channel.
Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you.
