France, Netherlands, and Spain all declared war on Britian during the Revolution. What happened to that war after the colonies won? Did they keep fighting? Were there battles in Europe?
All hostilities were terminated by the Treaty of Paris in 1783, with the continental sections ( which involved exchange of some colonial possesions and the like ) being negotiated seperately from the American provisions.
The primary actions were naval and away from the continent, however French and Spanish forces did successfully assault and capture the island of Minorca and unsuccessfully sieged and assaulted Gibraltar.

Britain signed treaties with France, Spain, and the Netherlands at the same time as they signed a treaty with the Americans. In fact, it’s referred to in the Paris Treaty.
