Yes. It’s clearly time to stop working on the problem, and start ignoring it.
Just because you’re spinning your wheels doesn’t mean you’re working. And just because someone wants to help you himself, rather than depend on a fat bureaucrat to do it, doesn’t mean he’s ignoring you.
And just because poverty doesn’t vanish doesn’t mean it’s the antipoverty programs that aren’t working.
