I’ve suddenly started getting a suffocating amount of American Apparel banner ads on all sorts of websites on both my work and home computer. Is it possible that this is personal, and due to a cookie picked up from americanapparel.net itself (which I’ve visited on both computers), or has AA suddenly started a massive internet campaign? Is this happening to anyone else who isn’t an AA customer?
I’ve not seen any but I’ve got most ads blocked by an edited hosts file.
Run Spybot/Adaware to see if you have anything then, if the ads annoy you, add americanapparel.net with an address of 127.0.0.1 to your hosts file and they’ll all go away.
I like their stuff, and I have visited their website, but I don’t get the banner ads.
My only criticism is that they don’t offer any jeans–odd for a casual wear company.
They do, and in quirky colors - just not on their website yet. They’re in stores and around $70.
