American Dad 11/6, Guest-staring Baxter Stockman.

Now, I realize this is an incredibly minor point, but at Stan’s boss’s party, I saw, for all of three seconds, a black guy wearing glasses and a sweater-vest, kind of nerdy looking, with a shortish haircut.

My first thought was that it was Baxter Stockman .

My second thought was that they would not have been aiming at so obscure a target.

My third thought was that this is the best episode ever. Who thought I would find suspense in an episode of this show?

Especially since it’s only a reference to the comics, which are probably even less well known than the movies and cartoon. I only know Baxter Stockman as a nerdy white guy who became part fly.

Rodger: "I wonder if this furniture polish has alcohol in it? [drinks] “Hmmm…tastes like I’m going to die.”

Stan: “Ladies and gentlemen, Jay Leno has come down with a broken neck…”

In addition to that, I loved that Stan instinctively broke Leno’s neck a second time when he couldn’t shake his lifeless body back to consciousness.

“I love husband and will serve him in this life and next.”

I loved what Steve forced Hayley to say before he would escort her to her date … something about a female friend reluctantly giving him one-time pity sex once he hit his mid-30s.

In the new Fox cartoon, Baxter’s a black guy who doesn’t become a fly, but a cyborg after his body is destroyed by the Shredder for failing, but his head is kept alive in a tank of liquid attached to a robot.

And then later , “I once filled in for Jay Leno.”

Anyone else flashback to, "I’m sorry. Hey, hey, wake up, I’m sorry. I mean, I was trying to help. I mean, how was I supposed to know it was you, I mean, what the fuck were you doing robbing your own house? You asshole! [KICK] You stupid, [KICK] stiff, [KICK] pompous, [KICK] English… Ahhh! I’m sorry! I’m sorry!”

I loved Thundercat (snerk) slamming Francine’s head in the oven. I’m so hoping to see Franny kick her ass in the next ep!

I really hope someone drops that fish the next time they move. He’s really worn out his schtick.

Maybe they turn him into this show’s Meg Griffin. Every week they could find a way to abuse him.

One of the best American Dad episodes in a long time.

Killing Leno was good, and I liked it when he finished his song and was in somone’s house.

“Mommy, are we gonna die?” “Yes we are”

Actually, when you consider it, I thought this episode was really kind of
