I think this is a perfect place to end the series. Mostly everything is wrapped up, the loose ends aren’t very interesting (except maybe JJ coping with life in the normal world), and it’s at an emotional high.
I don’t have too many other comments, since the show is pretty mindless to watch - everything is laid out on the table in front of you. But I cannot believe they put out that Ford commercial at the end. I didn’t catch the whole thing - was it just an extended commercial meant to be tied into the show, or was it a bit more of a hybrid (i.e. is there anything plot-related I need to know?)?
Have to say that I’m a little surprised to see a Christmas episode before Thanksgiving, but maybe NBC is planning on a month of Christmas specials for Sunday night.
I’ve been wanting to watch this show again, but unfortunately it’s on at the same time as “Arrested Development”. I would have watched it if they said JJ was coming home (usually I keep up with what’s happening based on the episode descriptions).
Not that I know of. I’m just saying that it’s a good time for **me ** to end the series, because so many things are wrapped up. I usually watch a series through to the bitter end, and usually get pissed off because they drag it out to long. This time, I’m going out on a high note.
And I like Roxanne as well. Moxie is the perfect one-word summation of her.
I always imagined JJ coming back and he and Meg start fighting about the Vietnam War.
I didn’t see it, so what’s the deal with JJ’s ex-fiance and his son? Will they live together? Get married? Still live in the Pryor’s house? Any new updates with the black family?
