Gee, thank you ever so much for that!
Fun fact: Obama is actually dyslexic. He spent the whole campaign unsuccessfully trying to give a shout out to his good friend Kanye West.
Wow, a 2012 Jenny Jones reference. I’m impressed.
We’re talking about the Romney campaign. Jenny Jones qualifies as a current pop culture reference.
This is the campaign where Paul Ryan name-dropped Led Zeppelin in making a joke about how much hipper he was than Mitt Romney.
Seriously, when was the last time Led Zeppelin was considered relevant? 1977?
Bitch ruined the Oilers forever.
Well, to be fair, that reference did go over like a … a … well, something that doesn’t become airborne very easily.
Never mind the rooftop part; I can’t even imagine Romney raising his voice.
Perfectly OK for Republicans to lie if you can find some case where a Democrat did, correct? Got it.
And regarding the OP, thank you. You have convinced me with your mighty three-word slogan that there’s no further need to look at all those complicated issues and stuff.
Wrong. Everybody does it and it’s always reprehensible. But humanity being what it is, I’m sure the tradition will live on.
Not believing Democrats would make me a Republican only if you think in one dimension. I haven’t bothered to vote since 1988, and I probably never will again because (a) I recognize what a farce the system is (and it gets worse every four years) and (b) I just no longer give a good goddamn.
If you think whoever you vote for in November will matter one way or another, you’re certifiably delusional, IMHO. The United States has been running on pure inertia for most of my adult life.
Hey, don’t get mad at me for connecting the dot.
I say that you win the thread, but it isn’t much of a thread.

As Wee Willie Keeler liked to say, “Hit 'em where they ain’t”.
I thought it was in reference to “We Built This”?
I also remember your present incumbent saying “VOTE FOR ME AND I WILL CREATE 2 MILLION NEW JOBS” Yeah right!
You remember him saying that?
Bravo!
He did.
This. I know (and love) Zep, but it’s grandpa music. Seriously. Next he’ll be dropping a Benny Goodman reference.
I have noticed the Republicans no longer use the cute accident of calling him Barack Osama anymore…wonder why they stopped doing that?
Well, at least his exclamation made sense.
As you first posted while this thread was still in IMHO, I would say the appropriate rebuttal would be that you’re not really entitled to an opinion.
Now that it’s in Elections, I think your participation in the thread is difficult to comprehend.
