Why would Mitt Romney shout that?
It’s a metaphor for the plight of Mitt’s old dog. People at the rally would look up and see Mitt strapped to the rooftop, crying out “no you didn’t, no you didn’t” as he shit in his pants.
Makes sense. The Republicans have been caught in lies before, why stop now?
“Shouting from the rooftops at every rally”? What an odd way to put it, Willard is going all out for the chimney sweep vote? Shades of Mary Poppins.
Followed up with “Don’t go there!” and “You go, girl!” Finally concluding his speech with “You better dump that zero and get with this hero!”
And that, my friends, is how Mitt took control of the Jenny Jones audience member demo.
I would shout it at an empty chair to show America that I really meant business.

I’m assuming the OP feels there’s something that Obama is widely claiming he did but hasn’t actually done? Could you explain what it is specifically?
In a broader sense, the fact that I’m asking indicates this wouldn’t be a very effective strategy. A good campaign slogan doesn’t need to be explained.
As opposed to Chris Christie running for re-election in New Jersey, in which he shouts at every rally, “Double meat, double cheese, and I’ll have a large root beer with that!”
That slogan makes more sense for Christie than what you’ve suggested for R-Money.
A masterclass in rebutting partisanship without resorting to ineffective, dreary earnestness. Bravissimo!

I had forgot about Yes We Can!* I thought it was the You Didn’t Build It lie the Republicans have been trotting out.
*When I went to the Colbert/Stewart rally in DC, this drunk guy was trying to climb up into a tree and the crowd around us started chanting “Yes you Can!” but he fell out of the tree and they started changing “No, you couldn’t!”
